Improv Chewables:
The Basic Workshop

Class Forming Now!

Coming soon is Improv Chewables, my new drop-in, come-when-you-can improv workout for beginning-, basic-, and intermediate-level improvisers. To be held at a day and time to be determined, Improv Chewables is a fun yet structured class that focuses on the basics of improv. Learn the rules, play the games, and make with the funny!

A Must-Have Skill

Improvisation has become a must-have skill on any actor's resume. Used in commercials, television, and feature films alike, improv also develops confidence and creativity. Learn how to relax on stage, 'get out of your head', and be spontaneous in a way that is coming from a place of truth — the place in which comedy is rooted. Improv is also a great tool for non-actors! Lawyers, public speakers, and anyone else who must speak in front of a group of people can all benefit from improv training. Lose the terror; embrace the fun.

Protect Your Investment!

ACME, the Groundlings, Second City, and the other major improv schools charge between $350 to $450 for their Basic and Intermediate courses. That's a huge investment to make once — let alone TWICE! And paying twice or even three times is what can happen if you are asked to repeat a level. Protect your investment with supplemental workouts by taking Improv Chewables. While I cannot guarantee you'll pass your improv courses elsewhere, having no control over them, I can assure you I will do my best to help you work through any issues, mental blocks, and other things that may hold you back.

And at only $12 to $15 a session, not only is Improv Chewables one of the best deals in town from a class standpoint, it's a fantastic deal when it comes to protecting your investment in other classes.

Rules of the Class

Improv Chewables is a safe place to grow as an improviser. Accordingly, the following rules are in effect at all times:

1. Be respectful of others' personal space. No kissing, hitting, or inappropriate touching without consent.

2. Be respectful of the class. Arrive on time, give fellow classmates your full attention during their scenes, and keep cell phones muted.

3. Have fun. Lots of fun!

Cost

The cost of each weekly 3 hour class is just $12 if you pay for 4 classes at a time. You don't even have to commit to coming 4 weeks in a row — just come when you can! You'll have credit until you use up all your classes. If you are unable or don't want to commit to 4 classes, the cost of a single class is only $15. Either way, that's a DEAL for improv classes in Los Angeles!

Plus, every time you bring at least one new person to class, you get to take that class for free! (Or you can work out whatever arrangement you want with the person, i.e., split the 2-for-1 between you two, etc.)

I accept cash, check and even credit cards via PayPal.
